"Patience is not the ability to wait, it is how we behave while we are waiting"
Patience is a funny thing it keeps us waiting while we are ready to go. But understanding that there are many parts of us that need attention to create patience gives a clearer picture of why it is difficult to comply with the action. Because we are complex beings we have many pieces that need to align before movement can happen and create the ultimate personal situation. Patience allows us the time to explore what is needing attention to generate the next successful phase of the journey we are on. Patience allows us the time to take note of what to leave behind and what to be grateful for so we can keep that with us as we move forward.
Today take some deep breathes and while you do hold in and focus on to the gratitude moment(s) that are in front of you. Say them aloud in your mind or write them down in a journal or on a piece of paper. Take note of what needs a little more attention that is rushing you along. Is there self-judgement, or personal expectations that are making you vulnerable and in a hurry to go. Learn to be kind and gentle with yourself by listening and understanding what is rushing you to ignore the greatness of you in the now.
